Road junction designed to encourage speeding.
Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 11:17, Tuesday 18 February 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later
This junction is seemingly designed with the sole aim of saving motorists having to slow down to turn off into Woottton Road. That's nice for motorists who like to drive fast, but not so nice for pedestrians trying to cross this junction or for cyclists struggling up the hill towards Guildford Road. If there was a pavement build-out, motorists would have to slow down, giving pedestrians at least a fighting chance of crossing without being terrorised by motorists.
