Damage to grass verge with massive hole
Reported in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 08:03, Thursday 20 February 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later
Many of the grass verges along this section of Sturminster Road are getting chewed up and ruined by vehicles who are wrongly driving and parking on them. This is especially bad at the specified location, by house number 253. Here a large hazardous hole has developed and there is constantly mud all over the pavements. This is a slip hazard as well as an inconvenience to pedestrians.
May I suggest that problem area be temporarily coned/fenced off as soon as possible to give the ground time to recover. Then short fences or bollards added to prevent the problem from returning.
