Overgrown foliage obstructing pavement

Reported via iOS in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 17:01, Mon 24 February 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 2018926.

Along Bamfield from near to the Scout Hut almost as far as St Bernadette’s Rugby Club, the foliage is growing out onto the pavement in particular at ground level, causing an obstruction for pedestrians. In places there is only room to walk single file which is makes it dangerous for anyone with a buggy and young children in tow.

  • It is a big improvement although it would have been even better if all the branches twigs and foliage cuttings had been removed as some of it has been left protruding onto the pavement.

For the most part it is now possible to walk along there safely and side by side.

    State changed to: Fixed
