The drain covers at the end of Freeland Place, clatter with every single vehicle that come into and go out of the City. all day, every day. on each side of the road needs to be repaired. The drain covers are loose and the road surface around them collapsed. I had a chat with the Bristol water engineer on site but he said it is not their responsibility, it is for the City Council to do this. Please will you come out and at least repair the overs, happy to meet you on site to point out etc...but it is very obvious! This is noise pollution driving neighbours mad....and as traffic level increase it will get worse and worse.

The two manhole covers on the Portway, at the end of Hinton Lane just under the gantry are now dangerous.
The one on the incoming side of the A4 bounces some 15 cm every time a vehicles goes over this...it makes a loud, irritating clatter, sometimes up to 15 times a minute...ie every vehicle hits and with trucks they hit it two or three times. this is now an environmetla health issue as well as a road safety matter. the surroundings to the manhole has now disintegrated, there is a great danger of collapse and of a nasty accident. the City Council needs to repair this as a matter or urgency.....please please, do this....we can hear this all day and all night and we are half way up Freeland Place!!

Both manhole covers are incredibly noisy, are a constant annoyance, and interrupt my sleep.

The manhole covers on both sides of the road are noisier than ever, making a very loud clanking noise several times a minute. Why has nothing been done about this despite it being reported in February. It has, in fact, been an issue long before that as well? There appears to be no updates from the council.
