Drain blocked by gravel and digging wash off

Reported in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 20:41, Saturday 29 February 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later

Gravel and earth were washed into the drain some weeks ago. The drain is completely blocked, not by leaves, but by gravel, earth and sand. As a result, the crescent is flooding a its lowest point and not draining.

  • Please could you arrange for this drain to be cleared. I have coned off the drain so that there will be no-one parked over it when someone comes to do the clearing. At the same time, it would be prudent to clear the drains on the corner of Pembroke Road and Richmond Park Road as well as the corner of Richmond Park Road and Clifton Mews. The recent heavy rain resulted in another flood which impacts on the residents of 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 Eaton Crescent. Thank you.
