Obstruction of bin store and destruction of grass verge
Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 15:04, Fri 6 March 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2044777.
Good afternoon, a local trader has been parking their van on the grass verge and in front of the bin store adjacent to 5 Emerson Square in Horfield for some weeks. They’ve completely destroyed the grass verge and dragged mud and soil across the adjacent pavement. Some of the paving slabs have been broken from the weight of the van. Local residents now have to negotiate a river of mud in order to access their bin store and can only do this once the van has left for the day. Similarly refuse collectors struggle to access all of the bins on collection day due to the van parking directly in front of the bin store. I have photos of the offending van parked on the verge if required. I’ve not uploaded it here as you’ve explicitly requested that I avoid personal information and vehicle number plates and that I don’t identify or accuse other people. Many thanks in advance for your time.
