  • Engineers came out and cleared blocked drain on Cotham vale and also a drain outside no 2 Cotham place. 3 weeks ago but have made no attempt to do outside 54/56. This drain is obviously blocked as the whole road was flooded yesterday 14th June

  • This is the current state of the drain can this be sorted as it will cross the path and flood 55 as the water is running into the drain outside 55 which can not cope

  • I am contacting you on behalf of my mother who is 72 and lives at number 53. Yesterday due to drains being blocked on the other side of the road and the heavy rain, water was running from across the road due to the blockage in the drains and down her pathway. This resulted in her being unable to leave her house. Fortunately a neighbour was able to locate a sandbag which alleviated the situation slightly but she is concerned about potential damage that has been caused to her property because of this. Sandbags are only a temporary fix. Please can the drains be looked at because my mother is vulnerable and is also looking after my brother who is disabled with mobility issues and also cannot leave the house if water is at that height.
