Blocked drain beside gate to maisonettes above Lanaway Road shops
Reported in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 02:35, Fri 13 March 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later
This drain has been blocked for over two weeks and is located right next to the big black gate that provides access to 6 maisonettes on Lanaway Road (the gate is located on the Sheppard Road side of the building). It has been reported previously in the flooding category but I am reporting in the drainage category in case the reason for the council's inaction is not realising that it is a drain that's blocked. The issue has gotten worse as time passes, the colour of the stagnant water has changed and 6 households are still having to cross the stagnant water to gain access to their homes, including a household with an asthmatic child who is immunosuppressed owing to regular steroid medication. The need to clear the drain and stagnant water is urgent.
