The gulley chamber is half full of sludge that results in the drain overflowing in moderate rain. This results in flooding of the pavement outside of house number 63.

  • This photo was taken on June 17th, the week after the team attended and cleared the drain. The drain on the opposite side of the road also fills quickly but not to the point of overflowing like this one. It continues to flood the pavement making it inaccessible. I believe the problem is with the main sewer rather than the gulley as that does look clear of debris now.
