Large depression in road on outside of bend - close to pavement

This ~6" deep depression has been deteriorating for several years and was overlooked even after a nearby pothole was fixed a couple of years back. It forces cyclists to swerve out into the middle of the carriageway at a particularly hazardous point. Most motorists take a tighter line on the bend and don't even notice it.
