Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 11:32, Tue 28 April 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council 6 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 2099357.
Foliage alongside the path alongside the 'yellow houses' leading from the end of Bushy Park to the top of the steps is extremely overgrown.
There are disability / access issues because it is not currently impassable in a wheelchair or mobility scooter.
Please cut the hedges back. Thank you.

Because local residents couldn't get through this path we have cut back the worst of the overgrowth ourselves. Nevertheless, it needs professional attention from someone with a powerful hedge-trimmer that will but through the thicker branches. The path is still overgrown and the hedge needs to be cut back all the way to the kerbline on both sides.

For the record ... The Council did diddly squat about this. The path was almost completely impassable, certainly not wheelchair accessible. The Council ignored our reports about this. So local residents sorted the problem out. But local residents only have domestic equipment and the big branches still intrude into/over the pathway. The Council have marked this problem as resolved. It is not. The Council need to cut back the foliage so that none of it overhangs the paved footpath.
