Saplings growing next to pedestrian crossing obscuring view of cycle lane

Saplings growing from a tree immediately next to the crossing at the end of Felix Road junction with Easton Way. Low foliage is blocking the view of people crossing at the pedestrian crossing from Stapleton Road (south side) to Felix Road. Pedestrians already have to walk straight into a shared path at the end of the cycle lane, being used by fast moving road bikes. It is made more dangerous because people crossing are looking left to check for traffic coming along Easton Way, then walking straight into the path of bikes as they exit the crossing onto Felix Road. This is made even more perilous in the spring and summer, as saplings growing from the bottom of the tree are covered in leaves, making visibility impossible as pedestrians exit the crossing onto Felix Road, see photos 1 & 2. The problem is enhanced by foliage that grows up along the railings as summer progresses. The saplings and any foliage growing on the railings need to be removed as they grow. The cycle lane also needs bollards at the end where the shared pathway begins, to slow the bikes down as they enter the end of Felix Road near to the crossing, as there is also a wall there, obscuring vision for pedestrians walking along Felix Road towards the crossing, see photo 3
