Damaged pavement and verge

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 20:36, Thu 10 November 2011

Sent to Bristol City Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 212256.

The concourse in front of the shops at Belland Drive has suffered damage by the incursion of lorries etc. There is damage all over the area but the worst part is by the road in front of the cafe/bookmakers. the grass verge adjacent has also been damaged by vehicles and there is a rut some nine inches deep. Some of the race stones separating the parking area from the road are also displaced. All the above mentioned damage is a real trip hazard. This has been reported on more than one occasion to Mr Jim Creamer to whom photgraphs were sent some years ago. Unsurprisingly, no action or response was made by Mr Creamer There has been a few half hearted attempts at repairs in Belland Drive over the years but these have been of very poor quality and have soon disintegrated. Does a council official ever inspect the work done by contractors??
