6 inch pothole on footway opened up

Reported in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 14:26, Wednesday 20 May 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

I have just noticed (20th May 2020) that a 6 inch pothole has opened up on the footway outside 87 Luckwell Road. The hole is a trip hazard and could open up more if pressure is applied.

  • The hole is getting bigger, as school opposite has opened there are more children walking along the footway, therefore even more dangerous. I think the hole should be inspected ASAP and some form of warning signs or cover be provided.

  • Still not fixed and appears to be getting bigger. There are are lot of young families around here and the hole is opposite a school so this represents a risk to health should a child step into the the hole.
