4 caravans parked on road, some obstructing pavement, some obstructing the road
Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 13:26, Sat 23 May 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2126426.
There were initially 2 caravans, but more and more keep coming. You can't walk down the pavement as one of so far up on it, and now there is one that makes it difficult to drive down the street. It seems that this has become a spot for static caravans to congregate, with no appreciation for blocking the road or pavement.

This is a massive nuisance and as it’s completely obstructing the pavement, can be reported to the police on 101.
Please let me know how you get on

One of the caravan doors suddenly opened into the street as we were driving down today - a very dangerous situation if we had not stopped in time. Other caravans obstruct the pavement. The first two caravans have been there for months, and the Council has not taken any action, and now another 2 have arrived. Further down the street, someone has parked a camper van with the roof up and a for sale sign in the window. Maurice Road is likely to become a caravan/camper park again.

2126426. Highways around St Andrew's park becoming a campsite. People in modified vans living in them. 5 vans. On Effingham Road, Melitia Road and Leopold Road. Reported ages ago and nothing has been done. Becoming too much as commuters are using the roads to park on as well. Officer to investigate.

This is very much still a big issue, the static caravans originally reported are still there, and there are now numerous camper vans parked on the street surrounding the park, with people living in them semipermanently.
