Loads of speeding on Greystoke Avenue and Ambleside Road.

Reported anonymously at 12:28, Sat 30 May 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Loads of speeding on Greystoke Avenue and Ambleside Road. Day and night. It's been worse since lockdown. We can hear the speedsters from our house and we're off the main road!

Updates

  • Not sure how the council can deal with speeding. It's still ongoing during the day and night. Being summer, sleeping with windows open doesn't help!

  • We cannot sleep with our windows open because of the all night racers on Greystoke Avenue and Ambleside Road.

  • I don't think this problem will go away without drastic measures. I think Covid-19 has changed the mindset of people thinking it's ok to speed in residential areas. Without traffic calming measures, speed cameras, traffic police monitoring racers, we will have this problem till the end of time. Sadly.
