Fear of accident occurring on Pound Lane and a constant disruption of peace within the neighbour, request for mirror on a turn coming up a hill

On the corner of my road, Pound Lane, there is a very dangerous and sharp turn on the road.
In order for drivers to know if there is another car coming, they have to honk. This can be extremely startling and disruptive to the neighbour peace. This happens constantly, which makes me think that maybe we should request for a mirror to be placed on the pole directly in the middle of both turns.
This would allow for all drivers coming up the hill to proceed with caution and to recognise drivers around the corner. Although drivers should do this regardless of a mirror, it still gives reassurance to drivers and a quiet neighbourhood for residents. This would be a very positive addition to the neighbourhood.
I also have a fear that one day, someone will speed around the corner and injury another person. This is a fear as a driver and as an onlooker. I think this is important to recognise as well.
