Trip hazard, wheelchair and pram hazard

Reported in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 10:53, Thu 4 June 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Before "improvement" work on the pavements in Coape Road, the pavements were reasonably level with no trip hazards. Since these works were done done on Tuesday and the tape covering the utility covers was removed yesterday, there are now large, jagged edges around these covers causing big trip hazards and big obstacles for wheelchairs and prams. My husband has only just come home after spending 6 weeks in ITU and 4 weeks in rehab with COVID-19 and is now in a wheelchair when outside. I cannot push him on the pavements now without difficulty and without giving him severe jolts and so have to go on the road to avoid these hazards which puts us in danger. so the only safe solution is stay inside and get no fresh air which we normally get on our daily evening walk. So having spent 10 weeks inside he now still can't go out safely. This work is not up to the usual standards of BCC
