Many broken footpath slabs - resulted in injury
Reported in the Pavement Defect category by Dave Hook at 10:24, Sun 7 June 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2145243.
Multiple broken slabs on footpath apx between 18-40 Weston Crescent. Slabs broken, cracked and lifting causing uneven surface and trip hazard. Slabs wobble when walked on. Dangerous in daylight, deadly in the dark
This has now resulted in injury from a trip directly as a result of the broken slabs.
Reported July 2019 and not actioned (apparently part of wider repairs reported Oct 2019 other than some spray markings nothing has actually happened)
Now been 12 months that this dangerous issue has existed.

I also reported this some time ago (Jul-19) only to have it closed by the council. It’s a disgrace and should have been sorted. Given that the street has a large number of elderly and people with young families, it’s only a matter of time before the council face legal action for somebody being injured.
