Overgrown vegetation
Reported in the Obstruction category by Ian Noble at 11:14, Thu 18 June 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2161639.
Overgrown soft landscape vegetation and a particularly large weed is completely obstructing visibility to the right when entering the roundabout. This happened last year I think and I reported it then. You cut back the vegetation but only just about enough so it soon grew back and became a problem again. It needs to be taken down to ground level over a distance of about 3m back from the Give Way line which should sort the problem for a few years.

Still there - the large weed (buddleia?) has been cut back with the cuttings thrown on top of the other vegetation. It looks like this has been done by a frustrated member of the public. Still impossible to see to the right without encroaching on to the roundabout. How long do your contractors have to action a job once it is raised? This is getting on for two months. This is a safety issue which needs to be expedited as soon as possible. If the job is done properly, removing the vegetation to ground level you won't need to repeat it for years. if you pave it, you won't ever have to do it again.
