Overflowing skip outside 23 Alexandra Park
Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 14:47, Monday 22 June 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
This skip has been overfull for weeks and now has open food containers in it attracting vermin. There has been a skip here for over 3 months occupying a residents' bay and not sited in accordance with license rules. (Has it had a licence?)
This is a skip connected to garden work we are having done. It has been emptied on a regular basis over the past 3 months. It does have a license. It has been due for collection in the last 3 weeks. As with everything it has been caught in a collection backlog due to covid. This week students fly tipped causing it to overfill. We have reported this to the council as a fly tipping incident. The skip was due to be collected today (23 June) but inconsiderate parking meant the collection vehicle could not get through. They will keep trying. If you wish to discuss further we are happy to do so.
