My understanding from a local resident is that the pothole (and one neighbouring it) have been repeatedly repaired for more than 25 years. The suspicion is that there is water pressure from below ground, reportedly from a pre-tarmac stream. A long-term repair is needed.

No action has been taken on this issue and it is now well over a month since the original report. Is a long term solution being sought, or can a temporary, quicker measure be taken in the meantime? Parked cars are getting damaged from the loose stones flying up. Can you please provide an update?

Can the cobbled street outside No.1 also be remedied as stagnant water collects here and is a slip and health hazard. Photo shows collection of water and algae - even on a dry day after no rain for days.

Despite the holes being filled in, water is still leaking out. I can only assume that further holes will appear leading to more repair works. Is a further investigation going to take place as previously suggested? Photo below was taken the day after repairs, on a dry day.

A couple of people came out at the beginning of the month and sprayed around certain problem areas - is this to be auctioned soon? Water continues into the street even on very dry days. The area of algae by the kerbside has a consistent trickle of water - please can further detailed work take place on this soon.
