Hotwells Primary School roadside barrier - Safety issue

Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 14:16, Tuesday 30 June 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

There is an entrance/exit door on Hopechapel Hill. We are concerned that a child may run into the road into oncoming traffic at home time and on arrival in the morning. Please can a barrier be put up to prevent this happening. We have one at our entrance on Albermarle Row (See picture). All our entrances are in use. Cars have also taken to parking on the pavement, which means the walkway is made even narrower. We have taken to putting out traffic cones. (see pictures 1 & 2) Our main concern is safeguarding the children.
