Cul-de-sac sign damaged
Reported in the Road Signage category by Mike Hamer at 14:22, Thursday 2 July 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
The cul-de-sac sign in our street has been damaged for years now. From being defaced and just wear and tear from time. Also you can easily rotate the pole the sign is on - kids often swing from it - rotating it to face the houses, so it's not visible to cars. It usually seems to be like this. Because of this several cars a day come along Cornwallis Avenue, looking for a way through to other streets, and not noticing the sign, drive to the dead-end and have to reverse back (which is tricky due to the parked cars). A new sign would hopefully help! If it's bold and clear (maybe an additional "Cul-de-sac" sign below it?) then motorists would see it and not attempt to come down the dead-end road.
