The concrete approach to No 7 Stanton Road is raised and is a trip hazard

Reported in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 09:56, Wed 8 July 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council 35 minutes later

My wife has tripped on this hazard and is currently in Southmead Hospital A & E having her hand X-rayed as she injured it falling over. This hazard has been present for a long time (years) as people have tripped on it before.

Updates

  • A new enquiry has been raised for this issue.

Posted by Bristol City Council at 10:31, Wed 8 July 2020

  • I note that the pavement trip hazard has not yet been fixed. My wife suffered a broken finger on falling here on 7th July and still has to attend Southmead hospital for attention to her finger. She has also had to buy new spectacles to replace the ones broken in her fall at a cost of over £100. I know of other people who have fallen here, please would you address the problem without delay. Thank you.
