Why has ornate lighting column no. 4 been replaced with modern steel one

Reported in the Street Light category anonymously at 11:16, Tue 14 July 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Column no. 4 removed and replaced with modern one by contractors. Caller wants to know why? She says that the Mayor stated that ornate lighting columns would be repaired and re-instated back where they came from. Is the modern lighting column temporary? How many more ornate columns are going to be removed and replaced with modern ones? Please contact/provide a written response. Caller will be emailing her concerns and has been advised to either contact her local councillor or submit a formal complaint.
