Misused/abused grit bin
Reported in the Grit Bins category anonymously at 16:52, Tuesday 14 July 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
I am proposing the removal of the grit bin at the junction of Bowring Close with Blagrove Crescent in Hartcliffe.
It has never been used to spread grit from, even in the iciest of conditions.
It is constantly being used as a plaything by local children who are forever climbing on it, slamming the lid and shutting one another inside of it, which is obviously an injury risk.
If the bin is not going to be used for its intended purpose, can it please be removed?
I have attached photos of the use it does get during a warm summer day.
