Double telephone/tv large access covers loose

Reported in the Utlility Covers category anonymously at 19:50, Wednesday 22 July 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council 35 minutes later

Large double access covers on inbound carriageway opposite 5 Grange Road Bishopsworth BS13 8LE. Covers are loose resulting in a very loud double clank every time a vehicle passes over them, loud enough to keep you awake at night or wake you in the early hours so would appreciate a fix please. Does Grange Road have any upper weight limit as we seem to be getting exceptionally heavy Tractor and trailers pulling earth or scalping which seem to be creating the damage.

  • So the council send in their preferred contractor ETM who spend 20 minutes renewing the tarmac around the ironworks, one week later and the metal works are noisy again. The last time these were repaired properly I believe they used lead strips between the inner and outer ironwork to stop the clanking........oh for an old school firm who would actually do the job with a little attention and pride.ETM must be loving life at the expense of the Bristol council tax payers.
