Bins and cones being used to reserve large area for 'tree work'

Reported anonymously at 10:56, Wed 29 July 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Yesterday (28th July) a few bins were put into the road. (Elton Road Bishopston). I assumed it was to reserve space for a removals lorry. However, the number of bins increased and cones were added, on both sides of the road, whenever a car vacated a parking space. There are now 10 bins and 4 cones. Then sheets of paper were attached, with "TREE WORKS" written on them in marker pen. This looks very unofficial. I'm concerned for the trees outside 60 Elton Road as they seem to be at the centre of the 'reserved' area.
