Deliberate damage to tree

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2225742.
Looks like someone is trying to expose roots of silver birch tree. Large metal spike in ground shown in photo is about 40cm long. Tree needs pruning to grow vertical as is leaning.

Tree needs attention as top leans excessively & will cause tree to fall over at some point. This combined with root damage needs urgent attention.
