Both manhole covers are clanking on the Portway. The one that has never been fixed and the one that was temporarily silenced about two weeks ago. Frankly I feel almost hysterical that the council has done nothing effective since my first notification in February. The distress caused to so many people with the incessant clanking day and night should really be sorted out ASAP. Claire Griffiths
