Overgrown fencing by Russian Vine
Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 11:24, Sun 2 August 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 2226835.
Following my report some months ago the Council team came to clear the fence of Russian vine although did not deal with the rear of fence at the time. The vine has grown up again and extends from the section opposite Dinglewood Close along for 200 yds to the entrance to the Trym Valley ( opposite end of Coombe lane). Basically, the solution eventually would be to tackle the vine in the area beside the River Trym . The vine needs cutting back at least twice per year during summer months. It has been an issue for years due t negkect

Despite being notified on 28th August that contractors had been advised to take action to clear teh fences of Russian vine nothing has been done. In addition the tensioining wires on the fence at the Bus Stop end need to be repaired as they have been cut/broken.
