2yds of cliff-edge tarmac footpath, 6ins down to ground, 6m from 2ft wide drain cover

Reported in the Pavement Defect category by martin stocker at 07:45, Mon 3 August 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Along public path that runs through Ashley Vale Allotments about 30m from swing gate( to narrowways) heading towards top of Watercress Rd , on right side of tarmac path sharp edge as soil has eroded, about 6metres to 2ft square drain cover in the path. I almost sprained my ankle twice now, so if I can so could others, narrow path gets overgrown (ok at present), have to pay attention to brambles(ok at present) and other people, so can step half over edge of tarmac by mistake. Please use hardcore and tarmac not a barrow of stones which will dissipate (and line flower pots) in weeks and it'll be back to square one.
