Double yellows need extending

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 15:08, Tue 4 August 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Pavement narrows outside house here and cars regularly park on the pavement to avoid the road, which obstructs the pathway making it hard for wheelchair users and pushchairs to get through. When bin is outside house on the end of terrace it fully obstructs the pavement when a car is parked here. Suggest making double yellows extend further along here.

Updates

  • The double yellow lines, are broken and non visible in sections of turning area enabling people to park there overnight and then school run people think it's OK to also park there. It causes a problem for residents to turn around. these lines were put in for safety when school was refurbished for infants. Thanks
