Multiple crashes involving mopeds at junction
Reported in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 19:58, Tue 4 August 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
On two separate occasions in the last two weeks riders on mopeds have skidded and come off their bikes as they come down Clifton park road up to the T junction with Pembroke road. They have both ended up sliding on to Pembroke road itself and have been lucky that no vehicles were driving along Pembroke at the time. That this had happened to separate riders suggests that this is not the fault of the driver but that there may be an issue with the road surface. There was nothing immediately obvious on the road to cause the crashes though (see photos)
