Sent to Bristol City Council 1 hour, 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 2232277.
We have reported a leak to Bristol Water who have just informed me it has already been investigated, and it has been establish that it is a Spring Leak, and not Bristol Water, so it is a matter for the Council. The address is 719 Bishport Avenue.
We have spoken to the neighbours of the property and they have informed us that is in an ongoing issue with the Council and the home owners, and 3 months later it still has not been fixed.
I am extremely concerned as we have almost slipped several times, and pedestrians are actually avoiding the leak by walking out onto a busy main road. As we get closer to winter this will only worsen and I feel whoever’s responsibility it is, it needs to be rectified as soon as possible to avoid injury or worse. The water is running out onto the pavement, and then onto the main road. This also means it will be icy for both pedestrians and vehicles if it is not fixed by Winter.
