Widening sink hole on the Nursery

Reported in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 09:04, Thursday 13 August 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

This sinkhole has appeared with the recent repair works to the rest of the road. It has grown bigger in the week period between the first and second photo. It is exactly in line with where car wheels pass over going up the road.

  • I noticed this sink hole yesterday. It is quite deep and could cause damage to a cyclist if not mended soon.

(It is well known that this area has a lot of disused unground mines around.)
