Two street lights in very close proximity

Hi, We have two lamp posts as shown that are two car lengths apart. I am not sure this is great for the environment. I also do not think they are both necessary as the street is well lit. We have just had the trees cut back which is long overdue but fantastic. So thank you! It highlights however that we have two lights where one was overshadowed by the branches and leaves. Probably not this forum to feedback but please can you request that your contractors observe some better health and safety precautions and care for other people's property while cutting trees back.
