Brambles and overgrown bushes blocking elderly residents parking

Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 11:52, Wednesday 26 August 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

I am enquiring regarding trees and shrubbery alongside residential parking of Hermitage Close Shirehampton. My grandad is a residing resident here and they have been unseen to since way before lockdown. The residents are finding it extremely difficult to park there cars due to over grown shrubs which and hanging with brambles- I also wondered if this was safe? Due to the age of the majority of residents and their frail skin to be rummaging through brambles to access their vehicles?

  • Further to my enquiry, this issue has not been fixed and has been obviously growing and getting worse. My 84 year old great grandad has since cut himself trying to access his vehicle. Something needs to be done ASAP.
