Hedges overhanging and obstructing pavements

Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 17:51, Wednesday 26 August 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Nos 29 and 31 Fremantle Rd are surrounded by very high hedges that overhang the pavement both on their Fremantle Rd aspect and along the return on Cotham Side. The pavements are restricted to half width and pedestrians can only pass in single file. It is especially difficult for wheelchair users and partially sighted people. Please can you ask the owners to cut their hedges back to the level of the front surface of their boundary walls? Various direct requests from neighbours and Neighbourhood Watch have been ignored by the owners over an 18 month period.
