Sunken manhole
Reported in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 20:15, Fri 28 August 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2268861.
The manhole ( reported months ago ) has sunk causing a large dip in the road. It’s made worse by the ridiculous moving out of the pavement for whatever reason.

Still not fixed. You either have to get close to the kerb or too far out in the carriageway to avoid it. Especially if you don’t want to damage your suspension.

Someone has clearly tried to bodge the repair by filling the side of the issue. UNFORTUNATELY the problem of sunken access cover remains. For the sake of all traffic who encounters/tries to avoid this issue on a daily basis please arrange a proper and long term fix.
