Resurfacing has increased camber resulting in damage to cars exiting driveways
Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 17:09, Mon 31 August 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2271921.
Outside the 6 houses of worrall place, vehicles now scrape on the pavement when leaving & entering the off street parking for their properties due to the increased height of camber following resurfacing. Outside 5 worrall place, the inspection cover is being damaged. The vehicle owned by No. 5 is subject to noticeable damage to the tow bar and its electrical connector when it enters and exits its drive. It is impossible to turn right out of the driveway without the vehicle grounding. Outside number 4 worrall place, a similar issue is causing damage to the front bumper of the car at that property. The edge of the road has cobbles which are left untouched when the road is resurfaced and this appears to make the problem worse compared to other parts of the road. Hope this makes sense.
