Parking enforcement on double yellow lines outside nursery are needed

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 09:07, Mon 21 September 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2304262.

Parents dropping their kids off at Whitehall School and The Limes nursery are parking halfway across the double yellow lines and half way on the pavement making it difficult to safely pass with children. Whitehall has a tiny catchment area, I am at the edge of it and it is only a 7 minute walk with a slow 5 year old even after waiting for traffic on Whitehall Road. Very few people need to drive their kids there and they shouldn't be risking the lives of the children who walk there.

Updates

  • This can be reported to the police on 101, or to Bristol Council Parking Enforcement 01179038070.

In both cases, try to give them as much info as you can including registrations of the vehicles belonging to repeat offenders, times, locations, etc.

Let me know how you get on with this, via this channel. I'm a citizen of Bristol, rather than a council employee (as it might appear), I too am fed up with motorists parking on pavements
