Nettles and briars blocking footpath

Reported in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 13:17, Wednesday 23 September 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

For a number of months I have been having challenges with brambles etc growing over the footpath on Dingle Road. In the area where the footpath is on the bridge crossing the Trym the pavement is only about 3 feet wide and plant growth at ground level is reducing it which is difficult for me as I am riding a 28” wide mobility scooter. There are a number of signs there and the posts also intrude on the width and now there are nettles which make it almost impossible to ride along there without being stung. (I’ve taken to wearing gloves!) It is not good in either direction but coming from Coombe Bridge Road and turning left towards Sylvan Way is getting more and more difficult. I would really appreciate it if you could deal with this. Few photos attached.
