Fence around new development causing pavement obstruction.

Reported in the Obstruction category anonymously at 13:59, Mon 28 September 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Wooden boards put up around the property development along st John's Street towards Lombard Street is causing obstruction. It has been moved further out across the pavement leaving it particularly difficult for people in wheelchairs and with buggies to pass. Twice a resident in a wheelchair almost toppled over the kerb. Only that side of the pavement can be used as the other side is blocked off with bollards after a TRC. The gate access also feels unsafe as there is not enough space for the large vehicle to get in and out of the site safely without driving over neighboring private properties. The view is obstructed near the sharp bend at Lombard street and dangerous for pedestrians crossing the road. The area feels very unsafe and is an accident to happen so the resident asks is this please could be looked into urgently.
