Road quality dissatisfactory
Reported in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 20:54, Tue 29 September 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2317865.
I was disappointed today to see the previous ticket https://www.fixmystreet.com/ report/ 2215348 closed without any update other than to state that the issue is fixed. Insofar as we who live on the street are concerned, the resurfacing was a disappointment and has meant our children haven't been able to play out front with scooters and skateboards etc as they were able to previously. It's uneven and a poor untidy finish, and more prone to injury than before. As we lobbied for some time as a street to get it resurfaced and then took time to report our frustrations and disappointment at the job done, we would appreciate more dialogue on the issue other than simply stating the previous linked report as being fixed. Thanks

As before, this issue has been marked as fixed without any justification or communication with the street. As far as we’re concerned, the road is as tatty as ever.

In our opinion the road is still less favourable in comparison to prior the work being done. Before, though patchy and still a mess, it was as least flat and in a state that the kids could roll around on, now it’s very rough and gravely.
