Street Light Shield Needed for Glare into house

Reported in the Street Light category anonymously at 12:12, Friday 2 October 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

There is a street lamp directly outside of the bedroom window of No.10 Mallard close. Which isn’t really light much other than a car parking space. It didn’t really needed there is another street lamp directly opposite.

The light reflects directly into No 10’s upstairs bedroom.

Would it be possible to either be remove the street lamp or at least fit a light shield that directs the light away from the bedroom and maybe direct it more so towards the road?

It’s also worth noting that the lamp is continuously on.

Many thanks.
