Dip getting bigger when the bridge begins going towards a37
Reported via mobile in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 23:18, Fri 2 October 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2322657.
Where the bridge joins the road the dip is getting bigger each week you need to sort this problem out. We pay enough in road tax but you’d rather waste it closing roads and paying for cycle lanes that no one uses !!! It was report in august but nothing has been done

Road look studiously damage. Car bottomed out even when doing less than 20mph limit is 30. Damages to cars likely very dangerous for bikes

This dip is definitely becoming more and more of a problem. When you drive over it (which you can't avoid doing) you really do have to be careful as you could easily 'bottom out'. It is almost the whole width of the outbound carriageway, but particularly the A37 side, which is worse,

The dip now goes across the inbound carriageway as well I have just driven into the city and made a point of checking it out. There is a serious fault here which needs investigating very quickly.

Absolutely agree. Seems council don't care. We seem to have had absolutely no response to this? Is it just a public relations exercise that they use this website. Or are they hoping network rail will initiate the work.?? Guess its all about money as always not about road safety.
