Tables and chairs on pavement

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction category by jane oliver at 15:03, Sunday 4 October 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

The Red Church (a new pub and restauant) opened on Friday. Already they have started to put tables and chairs on the pavement. This is a busy section of pavement, next to a pedestrian crossing. People need space to wait on the pavement to cross the road rather than a business using the pavement as an extension of their premises.

  • The restaurant has not been open for a few weeks (as required during the England 'lock down') and so the tables and chairs have not been on the pavement.

Do not know if the Council has spoken to the business, and so do not know if the tables and chairs will be on the pavement again when the pub / restaurant reopens.

    State changed to: Fixed
