Lime Road is a one way street (from North Street, down to Upton Road). However, since i have been working from home (sat at desk in upstairs front room), I have noticed that several times a day, cars drive the wrong way up the street, often pretty fast. I am worried that its inevitably going to end with someone stepping out

Lime Road is a one way street (from North Street, down to Upton Road). However, since I have been working from home (sat at desk, in upstairs front room), I have noticed that several times a day, cars drive the wrong way up the street, often pretty fast. I am worried that it's inevitably going to end with someone stepping out without looking down the street (as why would you?), and getting hit. Is there any way the signage can be made clearer/larger please?
